I thoroughly enjoyed my 1st visit Cafe By Us! I'll definitely be a frequent customer from now on. I highly recommend this local gem, located at the southwest corner of Hamilton and Clinton Streets in East Orange, NJ. Great customer service, welcoming and comfortable decor, Black-owned, with high-quality, fresh ingredients. #shoplocal #EastOrange

First time visited and my expectations were certainly blown away! The eclectic yet calming ambiance of Cafe By Us, along with the amazing outside artwork and craftsmanship of the building alone will make me a frequent visitor. A peaceful setting that seems fitting for folk of all ages, styles and backgrounds. Much of the decor has great meaning, so if possible and interested, I recommend asking the owner Sam (a very personable individual) all about it. My mom and I ordered a lemon ginger tea, a caramel machiatto and a chicken sandwich and were extremely satisfied! The prices are very fair (especially in this economy), and the orders were delivered to us pleasantly by staff and within a reason timeframe. My only regret was that I didn’t try more of the options. However, i will certainly be back and will be sure to eventually try each item outlined on the menu, more than once! A great unique addition to the city and I will surely encourage many to try out this cafe. - Jimi

Great coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and the perfect place to relax or get some work done. I had the chance to meet the owner, a super chill guy who was very welcoming. The WiFi was incredibly fast, which made it a great spot to hang out for a while. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Hey everyone, today I visited Cafe By Us, in East Orange, NJ and let me tell you this establishment is a gem! Upon my arrival there, the cafe was very clean, esthetically pleasing, and inviting! The owner was a pleasure, very prompt and professional, and the food was great! I ordered the avocado toast that comes with an egg on top and an order of hash browns. My breakfast, was served fresh, hot, and delicious! I can’t wait to go back and will try some hot tea or coffee alongside a pastry or some lunch next!

Found out about this spot yesterday. I met the owner and staff and enjoyed a nice latte. I’m from the other side of town but I’ll definitely stop by when I’m in the area going forward.
